I have been recovering from a torn SIJ, could hardly walk, was in a lot of pain and was really fearful to move in the acute stage and throughout my rehab journey. I have spent the last 5 months working with these ladies and they have listened, understood and supported me every step of the way, and have also been willing to work with the guidance of another specialist I am working with which is not always the case. I have regained core strength and some pelvic stability, now progressing to single leg work. I regrettably can't continue my journey due to having to move out of much-loved Avalon which i'm really sad about. The girls at body form were amazing, every class I felt stronger, they tweaked exercises to fit my needs and if it was a core exercise I would have a trainer come and stand close and check in constantly. Body Form classes are different- led by an accredited physiotherapist who always works with your body to achieve the best results.

Classes are kept small and each client is valued and supported.

The class itself will use different equipment including but not limited to a reformer, so each time you attend, you move different parts of your body and keep your mind entertained- there is no set ‘routine’ each time you walk in.

After being in crippling pain from hip bursitis, I found Body Form online when looking at Pilates on the Northern Beaches. The studio is a great space, very clean and new equipment. There are a variety of people in the classes and everybody is friendly and encouraging. Kira-Leigh goes the extra mile to tailor your class to your needs. Body Form is by far my favourite way to practice pilates. I have a history of back pain and Kira-Leigh (the instructor) was amazing! So knowledgeable and her classes flow so well, I left feeling strong and keen to come back! Not to mention the studio is beautiful!! 10/10 recommend.
