I have just completed Mat and Reformer Body Form training in the Netherlands. It was absolutely the best training I have ever done in my Pilates career. I have already experienced classical and comprehensive trainings.

I was amazed with the choice of our Mentor and her excellent performance, knowledge, beautiful tips on curing and growing confidence and teaching.

The anatomy and biomechanics theory content is strong and reliable covering everything you need to know building a career in physical education and teaching Pilates with confidence.

What stood out for me the most is finding comfort with all functional repertoires, all variations, progressions and regressions addressing injuries and prenatal clients.

I already can say my class programming has evolved and my vocabulary has broadened.

I am very happy for my choice of educator, cause Kira-Leigh and Ali inspire a lot.

I recently completed my Mat & Reformer Teacher Training with Body Form Education at The Core Effect in the Netherlands, and I’m so happy I decided to do it!

I had already been teaching Reformer Pilates for a while, but I felt there were still some gaps in my knowledge and really wanted to take the next step in developing myself as an instructor. That’s why I decided to do the full Mat & Reformer Teacher Training with Body Form.

What I really loved about the course was the combination of the original Pilates repertoire and more modern approaches to movement. I think it’s important to understand the roots of Pilates, but also how movement and our understanding of the body have evolved over time.

The online learning was incredibly valuable. The combination of reading the manuals and watching Kira Leigh explain everything in the videos made the material much easier to understand. There were also so many helpful resources, from mind maps to summaries, which made working through all the modules feel much more manageable. I could immediately start applying what I was learning to the classes I was already teaching, which I loved! And whenever I had questions, the Body Form team was always super quick and helpful with their responses.

The four practical days at The Core Effect were definitely a highlight. Having already built a foundation through teaching and the online modules, it was great to dive deeper, ask questions and really understand the concepts behind the exercises. Ali was an amazing educator! She shared so much knowledge, and her enthusiasm and passion for Pilates made the days even more enjoyable. I learned so much from her.

I’ve taken away so much from this experience, especially when it comes to programming, understanding the why behind movements, and learning how to work with injuries and pre- and postnatal clients. In reality, you’ll often have people in your classes dealing with an injury, pregnancy or recovering after giving birth, so knowing how to adapt exercises is incredibly important. I now feel much more confident offering modifications and progressions to make sure everyone gets the most out of the class, regardless of their level or individual needs.

I would definitely recommend Body Form Education, whether you’re completely new to teaching or already an instructor looking to develop further. The course gives you the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to really understand what you're teaching, adapt to different clients and keep growing as an instructor!

I completed the pre and postnatal Pilates CPD course online and am based in the UK. I am a mat and reformer Pilates instructors and had previously purchased a comprehensive package which included the pre and postnatal training but after following Body Form Pilates Education on instagram and seeing how good their courses looked I decided to invest again as I really wasn't enjoying the course I had previously purchased. Wow I'm so glad I did. Training was so relevant and straight to the point with engaging theory and practical demonstrations. It provided everything I was looking for to help me gain confidence to deliver classes to this specialist group with both reformer and mat examples. You were given plenty of modification examples which were specific and detailed. The course was so engaging I flew through it (unlike the previous course I had been trying to complete for months and would have taken weeks to mark!). The assessment format was so much more suitable and the course felt so easy to follow. Thank you so much for an excellent course! I wish I had found you sooner and trained with you from the start. I will be doing more CPD courses with you in future.

I studied to become a Pilates Mat and Reformer instructor in Sweden, both online and in person.

So thankful for bodyform for this education, I signed up for both the Mat and Reformer certification and couldn’t be happier! Had my in-person days in Gothenburg, Sweden and it was really such fun four days with our amazing teacher Emily at Lyckoreceptet! Thanks for this new chapter in my life!🩷

I can honestly say that this was one of the best instructor trainings I have ever attended. Having worked in the fitness industry for 10 years, I have experienced quite a few different trainings, and this one truly stood out.

I completed the Pilates Reformer and Pilates Mat instructor training in Gothenburg, Sweden, and I was incredibly impressed with the entire experience. The course was very well structured and included so much valuable and in-depth information. The learning materials were also of excellent quality and made the learning process both clear and engaging.

The teacher training was extremely professional, and Emily, who led the training, was exceptionally well prepared, knowledgeable, and truly inspiring. She created a supportive and engaging learning environment and shared her knowledge with so much passion.

I highly recommend this Pilates Reformer and Pilates Mat instructor training to anyone looking for a professional, comprehensive, and inspiring education in Gothenburg. I left the course feeling more confident, motivated, and excited to continue my journey as a Pilates instructor!

I genuinely couldn't be happier with my experience at Bodyform Pilates Training. After completing the in-person weekends for the Comprehensive Mat & Reformer Teacher Training in Gothenburg, Sweden, I felt like I had to share how amazing this course has been so far. From the very beginning, it's been clear how much thought, care, and expertise has gone into creating it.

The curriculum and online modules is incredibly comprehensive and covers so much more than just learning Pilates exercises. It takes you through anatomy, the muscular and skeletal systems, biomechanics, movement principles, class programming, client care, and so much more. I especially appreciate that the course is physio-led, with dedicated education on injury awareness and pregnancy modifications. It gives me confidence that I'm learning safe, evidence-informed Pilates.

One thing that has really stood out to me is how clearly everything is taught. Even when the topics are complex, the trainers explain them in a way that makes them much easier to understand. Whenever I've had questions, I've always received detailed, thoughtful answers, and I've never felt uncomfortable asking for clarification. That supportive learning environment makes such a difference.

The in-person training days were definitely another highlight. Our Master Trainer was incredibly knowledgeable, inspiring, and generous with her experience. I learned so much from her, and it was also wonderful to meet and learn alongside the other trainees.

More than anything, I truly feel that the whole team genuinely wants every student to succeed and become an excellent Pilates instructor. That's something you can feel throughout the entire course.

I'm still completing the training, but I already know that when I graduate, I'll feel proud of the education I've received and confident stepping into my career as a Pilates teacher. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bodyform Pilates Training to anyone looking for a high-quality, in-depth Pilates education.

I recently completed the Reformer Pilates training with Body Form Education at Lyckoreceptet in Gothenburg, Sweden, and I’m still taking in what an incredible experience it was.

My goal is to become an instructor, and this training gave me the knowledge, confidence and push I needed to take that next step. What really drew me to Body Form was the depth of the education, not just learning exercises, but truly understanding anatomy, injuries, modifications, pregnancy and postpartum, and the why behind movement.

Kira-Leigh is an absolute wealth of knowledge, and I’m so grateful for how generously and wholeheartedly she shares it. And Emely at Lyckoreceptet, our Master Teacher, is such a gem, knowledgeable, supportive and truly inspiring.

I came away feeling so much more confident and prepared to teach and support different bodies and needs. If you’re considering Pilates teacher training, I can wholeheartedly recommend Body Form Education. I only wish I’d done the Mat training too… but it’s never too late! 🤍

I recently completed the Injury Modification Certification with Body Form Education online. I’m already certified in mat and reformer Pilates, personal training and sports nutrition, and I was looking for a course that would strengthen my confidence in adapting exercise for clients with injuries and different movement needs.

I was initially apprehensive about completing the course online, as I wondered whether the learning experience would be compromised. However, I quickly realised that wasn’t the case at all. The course was exceptionally well structured, the content was engaging, and support was always available whenever I needed it. Learning at my own pace meant I could properly absorb the information rather than feeling overwhelmed or rushed, and I finished each section feeling confident in my understanding rather than being left with unanswered questions.

The course was evidence-based, practical and immediately applicable to my teaching. Rather than simply providing a list of modifications, it explained the reasoning behind them, which has really improved my clinical thinking and decision-making when planning sessions and adapting exercises in real time.

One of the biggest takeaways for me was the reassurance that, as an instructor, my role is to support clients safely through movement - not to diagnose or fix them. That shift in perspective gave me so much confidence and reinforced the importance of staying within my scope of practice while still delivering safe, effective and meaningful sessions.

I’m based in the UK, and I would highly recommend Body Form Education to any Pilates or fitness professional looking to expand their knowledge. The quality of teaching from Kira-Leigh was outstanding, the information was current, relevant and easy to apply, and it’s one of the most valuable CPD courses I’ve completed. I came away not only with more knowledge, but with greater confidence in applying it to every class I teach. I look forward to further courses with Body Form.

I recently completed two days of Reformer Training in Queenstown, New Zealand, and the whole experience was incredibly hands-on and in-depth. The founder brings an incredible depth of knowledge and education, as do both Master Trainers who led the course.

Everything was explained thoroughly. From anatomy and pre-natal/injury modifications to cueing, class structure, and how to deliver a seamless class flow. This has set me up perfectly for planning and delivering classes that are thoughtfully designed around the customer experience.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete the Mat Training days this time around, but I'll be catching up soon and can't wait to keep learning.

With no prior anatomy education or study, I was nervous about taking the leap into Pilates instructor training, but I couldn't recommend Bodyform Education and Kira-Leigh more!

I've just completed four practical training days in Queenstown, New Zealand, for Mat and Reformer Pilates, and they've exceeded all of my expectations. These sessions were informative, engaging, and thoughtfully structured to ensure everyone got the most out of every day. Kira-Leigh and our Queenstown master trainers, Cherene and Lauren, created a welcoming and supportive learning environment, and having the opportunity to put theory into practice through teaching and cueing each other was invaluable. Their encouragement and feedback helped build my confidence and brought the online learning to life.

The physio-led approach to teaching means the theory is comprehensive, giving you so much more than a standard instructor qualification. From learning functional anatomy and movement mechanics to injury modifications and important pre- and postnatal considerations, every module has been practical, evidence-based, and directly applicable to teaching real clients.

The online nature of the theory has been perfect for balancing my full-time job, allowing me to study at my own pace and manage my workload with ease.

I would recommend Bodyform Education to anyone considering Pilates instructor training, whether you're completely new to anatomy or looking to deepen your knowledge and confidence in movement. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I'm so excited to continue the journey.

The physio-led approach sets this training apart. We didn't just learn Pilates exercises, we gained a deep understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and how to confidently modify movements for injuries and pre- and postnatal clients, ensuring everyone feels included.

The course is comprehensive, practical, and easy to fit around a busy life thanks to the hybrid learning model and bite-sized modules. I finished the course feeling confident, well supported, and excited to start teaching. Thank you Kira-Leigh for creating such an incredible learning experience!

If you’re a Pilates Instructor and have ever flirted with the idea of upskilling or undergoing a course for a certification you already have—rehashing what you “already know”—DO IT. And do it RIGHT!!! Enrolling in Body Form Education’s Double Certification of Mat & Reformer in Sydney was easily the best investment I’ve ever made in my Pilates career (and myself). Heading into my eighth year of teaching with a Cert IV in mat and reformer and a Diploma of Clinical Pilates already under my belt, I wasn’t sure what I could possibly gain from going through yet another Teacher Training course. And yet, I’ve never felt as solid on my own two feet as I do now just months after beginning my journey with Body Form Education! Kira-Leigh has truly changed the game in the movement education industry and has created something goes above and beyond just a “teacher training” course. Body Form focuses on building strong and confident educators, to which the ripple effect on the community will be enormous!! After completing the intensive face-to-face training as part of the program, I’m left overflowing with gratitude, knowledge, repertoire, skills, confidence, science-backed evidence. Simultaneously with this new wave of confidence my crippling anxiety and perfectionism over my role as a Pilates teacher has been washed away (Imposture Syndrome, be gone!!!!). Hand on heart, I cannot recommend Kira-Leigh at Body Form Education enough!! And it’s safe to say this won’t be the last time I journey through here. Xx

So far I am LOVING the theory work and finding so much value in the information being shared and the delivery of the information. Last week I completed the practical face to face learning days with Lisa Lay as our Master Trainer out at her studio "Studio Twenty Two" and she was absolutely incredible. Her experience in the industry and what she has learnt is inspiring and the way she took us through the Body Form method of learning was 10/10. I’ve just completed the four‑day Sydney Mat and Reformer Pilates practical training at Body Form Pilates with founder Kira‑Leigh, and it was such an incredible experience. She teaches with so much clarity, depth, and passion, breaking down biomechanics in a way that truly lands and bringing a strong physio‑lens to everything she explains. She’s created a space where you feel supported, challenged, and inspired all at once.

The environment throughout the practical was so welcoming. I felt comfortable asking questions, practising confidently, and really absorbing the material. It was fun, engaging, and genuinely confidence‑building.

The course is thoughtfully designed, focusing on concise cueing, intelligent programming, and real teaching practice that genuinely prepares you for the studio. I loved how practical and client‑centric it was — everything felt relevant, hands‑on, and grounded in real‑world, real‑client teaching rather than just memorising repertoire.

Completing my mat Pilates education with Kira-Leigh from Body Form at their Mona Vale studio has been such a rewarding experience.

Everyone wants to be the best instructor they possibly can and Kira-Leigh helps facilitate that by providing evidence based, holistic and in-depth education. She uses her extensive background in physiotherapy and clinical Pilates teachings with the addition of her own up-to-date education to provide the best and most accurate knowledge to her students.

The course covers pre & post natal, injury modifications and progression/regression of movement to meet the client where they are at on any given day. (Plus it’s all provided in a friendly no nonsense manner by Kira-Leigh)

I truely believe after this course that Kira-Leigh wants to see her students thrive in the industry, it’s not about the amount of people she’s educating but the calibre of instructors she’s educated after their training-which is a beautiful thing for our clients.

Going into these Mat and Reformer days I had a mixture or excitement and nerves for a few reasons, some of those being research on other courses not having new instructors truly ready for the industry, nerves around how I could make this and FT works and also nerves around if I would be able to come out of this truly understanding the human body and its movement patterns in relations to Pilates.

As soon as I completely the first day, all of these were squashed. I have truly come out of these 4 days feeling so much more prepared. The convenience of the online learning made this process possible,- but also having the variety of having the in person days really cemented everything for me. About a year and a half ago, I created a vision board with a major focus on movement. Specifically, I wanted to try reformer Pilates, but as a total beginner, I had no idea where to go in Darwin. Life got busy and I put it off, but everything changed late last year when Sky Barre opened their second studio in Palmerston. I signed up immediately and have been attending classes ever since.

Earlier this year, I approached the owner, Leanne Hunt, to ask how I could deepen my personal Pilates knowledge. We spoke for a bit about the world of Pilates and she told me the studio had something coming and to keep an eye out. A couple of months later, the Bodyform x Sky Barre teacher training program was posted. I knew instantly I had to be a part of it.

I am so incredibly glad I embarked on this journey to become a Pilates teacher. While my initial goal was simply to understand my own body, health, and fitness, the experience turned into so much more. After attending their classes and asking a million questions, I have felt welcomed, encouraged, and inspired by our master trainers: Leanne, Lara, and Laura.

Throughout the program itself, I have felt deeply supported by Bodyform’s founder, Kira-Leigh. Despite her global travels, she was always ready to answer my questions from the beginning of enrolment and throughout the course. Most of all, I have gotten to know and feel supported by an amazing, wonderful group of women sharing this course with me.

I truly cannot recommend the Bodyform x Sky Barre training program highly enough. Whether you want to teach or simply transform your relationship with your own body, this course delivers!! 🤍

I recently completed the Reformer Training in Kelowna with Master Trainer Cassie as a way to upskill and build on my existing teaching experience, and I couldn’t recommend it more!!

From the moment the training started, it was clear how much thought had gone into creating a supportive and hands-on learning environment. Cassie was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and always happy to answer questions, making the whole experience both enjoyable and engaging.

What really set this training apart was the balance of theory and practical application. Rather than just learning movements, we focused on understanding the “why” behind every exercise, which gave me so much more confidence as an instructor. We also covered a lot of pre / post natal modifications, as well as injuries, which is something I feel like was missing in previous trainings I have done so it was great to touch on this in more detail!! I signed up to upskill, and I left feeling inspired, more confident in my teaching, and equipped with practical tools that I can immediately bring into my classes. Would definitely recommend the in person training!!

Over the past two weekends I completed my in person training for the mat and reformer double certification at Sunny Space Studio located in Kelowna BC, Canada. This training stood out to me because of the in depth learning that took place before the in person training as well as during it. We were taught all exercises for each discipline through demonstrations, explanations, and practical experience doing and cueing the movements. We covered all areas of the practice that a Pilates instructor needs to understand including injury modifications and pre/post natal training. I was grateful to have Cassie Clarke as our master trainer because she was able to conduct the training clearly and efficiently. We were taking in a lot of information each weekend and she structured everything so we were able to retain it and apply it. I left each weekend feeling fulfilled and confident in moving forward as an instructor!

I had the pleasure of taking the Reformer training certification in Canada and it has exceeded my expectations. The in depth modules, going through anatomy, physiology and class programming was amazing. The course shows you the different exercises to perform, and why they are beneficial. (Its the physiological background; highlighting the different muscle groups you are working, how it helps benefit your everyday life). This course has set me up in the right direction to teach effectively. To have a purpose behind my class structures. I highly recommend if you are thinking to take your pilates certification, it be through Body Form.

I had an amazing experience getting my mat+reformer certification through Body Form Pilates. It was well structured and included in person + online theory aspects - including a whole repertoire of information to download or revisit throughout the process on all things pilates and anatomy. The course includes everything you would need to understand not only the movement patterns and reasoning, but the physio-based rationale for the human body’s reaction/experience. Kira (the founder) was supportive of my learning and checked in on my progress throughout the process! I am very pleased with my decision to further my education through this platform!

I participated in the reformer teacher training, hosted from 23-24 May in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a practicing physiotherapist, I highly recommend Body Form Education. Their comprehensive training program is exceptionally well-structured, thoroughly evidence-based, and entirely physio-led.

A standout aspect of the practical intensive was Kira-Leigh’s exceptional expertise. Her mastery of precise movement mechanics, advanced biomechanics, and articulate cueing added immense clinical value to the execution of each exercise.

I was incredibly impressed by the depth of the curriculum, particularly regarding advanced anatomy, injury modifications, and tailored pre and postnatal programming principles. What was strongly reiterated is scope of practice and the need of referral when an injury completely hinders participation due to pain and inflammation.

This is an internationally recognized course that genuinely upholds the highest professional standards. Kira-Leigh’s instruction truly elevates the experience for any healthcare or movement professionals looking to deepen their practice. Five stars.

I recently finished the face-to-face part of my mat and reformer Pilates course and it’s been incredible! Such an informative and intense practical mat pilates course, but absolutely amazing from start to finish.

Kira is an incredible teacher and instructor , not only highly knowledgeable in Pilates, but the physio-led approach made the training next level. You can really feel the passion and expertise behind every session.

Training with BodyForm Pilates (at the Slovak training site in Bratislava) for both Mat and Reformer Pilates was such a positive experience. The physio-led teaching style really stood out to me because it helped me understand not just how to teach exercises, but why movements work the way they do. I gained a much stronger understanding of alignment, movement patterns, and body mechanics throughout the course.

The instructor was incredibly supportive and created a welcoming environment where I always felt comfortable asking questions and improving my skills. I also appreciated how flexible the course was — the online modules made it easy to fit studying around my busy lifestyle and learn at my own pace. The online modules are perfect for someone with a busy schedule or constantly on the go, as I could study from anywhere and learn at my own pace without compromising the quality of the training.

The training gave me the confidence and practical experience I needed to feel ready to start teaching professionally.

I recently completed the Mat and Reformer Pilates training in Sydney and couldn’t recommend it enough! Kira Leigh was brilliant! The level of detail provided in both the pre learning and during the practical days was excellent, the pre and post natal modifications were particularly invaluable to me as I previously wouldn’t have been as confident with these! Can’t wait to start teaching with all my new tips and tricks!

I’m currently completing my Mat Pilates certification with Bodyform Education and it has been such an incredible experience. I recently completed the in-person training at Bodyform Education (Mona Vale) and left feeling so inspired and motivated for this next chapter of teaching.

The theory throughout the course has been delivered so clearly, with a huge focus on injury modifications, as well as pre and postnatal considerations. Having previously completed my reformer training, this was exactly the refresh I needed and has helped me develop an even deeper understanding of anatomy from a physio-led perspective.

I would highly recommend this course for so many reasons. I genuinely feel prepared to teach Mat Pilates and confident stepping into the challenges that come with being an instructor.

So excited for what’s ahead. Thank you Kira Leigh and Bodyform Education 💗

I’m currently completing the Physio-led Pilates Mat and Reformer course and have already learnt so much from the experience. The course is extremely well structured, with a great mix of practical application and evidence-based teaching.

What I’ve enjoyed most is learning the reasoning behind each exercise and how Pilates can be adapted safely and effectively for different individuals and conditions. The physiotherapists delivering the course are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and passionate, which has made the learning experience both engaging and enjoyable.

Since starting the course, I’ve developed a much better understanding of movement, posture, breathing, and core control, and I’ve already noticed improvements in my own strength, body awareness, and confidence. The skills and knowledge I’m gaining feel highly valuable and immediately applicable.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in Pilates, rehabilitation, movement education, or professional development. It has been such a worthwhile and rewarding experience so far.

I recently completed Reformer training with Body Form Pilates Training (Sydney, Australia) and honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. After already completing my Mat Pilates qualification, I wanted to deepen my understanding of movement and level up my teaching — and this training exceeded my expectations.

Kira-Leigh is an incredible educator and such a wealth of knowledge. The course covered everything from anatomy, injury modifications and pre/postnatal education to programming and all the finer details that go into creating thoughtful, intentional classes.

I left feeling so inspired, supported and excited to continue growing as a teacher. You can really feel how much care, experience and passion goes into the training. So grateful to have learned from the best.

After completing my Mat Pilates course with Body Form, I am sooo ready to jump on the mat and get teaching!! What really stood out to me was how comprehensive and evidence-based the training was. It wasn’t just learning exercises to memorise and teach - there was such a strong focus on understanding the WHY and HOW behind movement, which has completely changed the way I approach programming and teaching. The physio-led approach made the training feel incredibly relevant and practical, especially when covering anatomy, injuries, modifications and pre/post natal considerations. I also really appreciated that pre/post natal knowledge was included within this course. The balance between online theory and flexible practical components made the course really manageable alongside work and life, while still being extremely in depth and high quality. I finished the course feeling far more confident in my ability to create intentional, effective classes and adapt movements safely for different clients and abilities. Such a valuable experience for any instructor wanting a deeper understanding of movement and given the tools to succeed as a teacher.

So grateful for this training! As an already Pilate instructor, this gave me a deeper insight in functional body movements in mat & reformer! This was so important to me as an instructor but also as someone who started Pilates because of an injury I’ve experienced. We went over injury, pre and post natal modifications which most trainings make this a separate course with additional pay!

Hope to take the rest of the modalities soon!

I got so much valuable information from the Spinal Code course! The different spinal conditions were clearly broken down, along with key things to look for and important areas to focus on when working with clients. Kira-Leigh explained everything in a way that made me feel much more confident in understanding these issues, rather than googling things on my own.

The exercise videos and modification options were especially helpful. She demonstrated multiple variations of common movements you’d see in everyday classes, which made it really easy to apply the learning right away.

I also appreciated how quickly she responded when I had a follow-up question. Her reply was detailed and thorough.

I’d definitely recommend this course to anyone looking for a solid overview of common back conditions and practical ways to approach them in Pilates. I will definitely be taking another one of her online courses!

Kira-Leigh was an incredible partner in leading our Common Medical Conditions module for teacher training. With her unique background in both physical therapy and Pilates education, she has a rare ability to break down complex conditions so we can truly understand them - and then connect the dots to practical, Pilates-specific applications. She clearly explained what to focus on, what to avoid, and how to modify with confidence. Even conferencing in from across the world, her presence, clarity, and expertise were felt in every moment. So grateful for her guidance!

I’ve had Kira-Leigh run two workshops for my staff, one on pre and postnatal Pilates and another focused on injuries, and both were absolutely incredible. She’s so knowledgeable, but what really stands out is how she breaks everything down in a way that’s easy to understand and makes the information feel so much less overwhelming.

The feedback from my team has been amazing. They’ve all said they feel far more confident running classes now, and even our clients have noticed the difference.

I also recently completed my mat training with Kira-Leigh after doing multiple courses through other companies, and it was hands down the best. I couldn’t recommend her more highly to anyone considering further training or professional development.
